Car parking

Our car park holds up to 40 cars. Parking is charged at £3 per day which can be paid using cash, card and contactless methods.

The fee for parking is an important source of income for Cashel Forest Trust as a charity. Without this vital income we would not be able to offer parking facilities or to maintain the path network and woodlands here.

If you are a regular visitor, you might consider becoming a Friend of Cashel. Membership entitles you to a number of benefits including free parking.

Cashel Forest welcomes visitors to enjoy our native forest experience.  The car park and forest is open virtually all-year round, though the Visitor Centre and WC (wheelchair-friendly) are open only from Easter until the end of October.  All abilities users are welcome to come and utilise the car park and picnic area as well as the all-abilities Cashel Burn Trail. For adventurous walkers, there are other walks and trails which take you deeper into the heart of the Cashel Forest.
